The BIAMI Annual Conference offers leading experts from around the globe, offering state-of-the-art information about brain injury treatment, therapies, latest research findings and best-practice techniques. Additionally for professionals, the Annual Conference is the place to meet and network with professionals working in all disciplines related to brain injury. Moreover, for families and people with brain injuries, the Annual Conference is an opportunity to meet with others facing similar issues and to meet potential service providers. Annually, the Brain Injury Association of Michigan's Legacy Society recognizes its newest contributing members at the Spring Tribute Dinner. In addition, selected individuals who have contributed to the brain injury field, or have shown a demonstrated leadership in working to improve lives of persons with brain injuries or their families are selected as an honorary member. Each year the Brain Injury Association of Michigan (BIAMI) honors organizations, programs, professionals and/or persons by the presentation of awards for outstanding contributions to the Brain Injury Association of Michigan and in the field of brain injury services. May 1, 2010 Generously hosted by the Fent Family, BIAMI members and proprietors of the Best Western in Birch Run, a pizza party lunch kicks off the beginning of the Spring Fling! The Spring Fling provides people with brain injuries and their family an opportunity to gather and socialize with other members from around the state. The day and evening are loosely structured in order to accommodate everyone. Hotel accommodations are at the Best Western in Birch Run, just off I-75. Shopping takes place at the Prime Outlet Mall in Birch Run and in the quaint German community of Frankenmuth. The 4th Annual “Tips-Up” charity Veteran’s Appreciation event is an opportunity for us all to gather and say “Thank you” to some Michigan Veterans who serve our nation. Please join us in a day of celebration with food, fun, entertainment, and games. Tuesday, July 13, 2010 Join us at the Brain Injury Association of Michigan's 27th Annual Eastern Grand Invitational Golf Outing. Each year, for the past twenty-six years, this golf outing has been one of our major fundraising events to benefit the Association. The proceeds from this event will benefit the Brain Injury Association of Michigan and all of its statewide chapters. West Golf Outing Thursday, July 22, 2010 Join us at the 19th Annual Harvey Lexus Champions for Charity Golf Outing. Each year, for the past 18 years, this golf outing has been one of our major fundraising events to benefit the Brain Injury Association of Michigan. The proceeds from the Western Michigan Regional Golf Outing will benefit the Brain Injury Association of Michigan and its three Western Michigan Chapters in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Muskegon.Events
